<p>PURPOSE: A sheet waterproofing structure and a construction method thereof are provided to improve the durability of a joint and to perfectly prevent a leakage by applying a double joint structure for waterproof sheets. CONSTITUTION: A sheet waterproofing structure is applied to a concrete surface (2) such as a rooftop floor surface. The sheet waterproofing structure includes first and second waterproof sheets. The edges of the first and second waterproof sheets are continuously overlapped with each other to form a single joint (J). Each top surface of the first and second waterproof sheets is arranged with a self-adhesive asphalt sheet layer or a self-adhesive butyl sheet layer. The first waterproof sheet is thermally welded on the top surface of the second waterproof sheet through a self-adhesive sheet layer. A second joint part is formed at the joint of the first and second waterproof sheets through the thermal welding.</p> |
