<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly with reduced force required for fitting without increasing the number of components and a space. <P>SOLUTION: A connector assembly A comprises a first connector 1 having a first housing 11, and a plurality of first contacts 12 aligned in an arrangement direction X and held by the first housing 11; and a second connector 2 having a second housing 21 fitted with the first housing 11, and a plurality of second contacts 22 aligned in the arrangement direction X, held by the second housing 21, and contacting the plurality of first contacts 12 by fitting the first housing 11 with the second housing 21.
