The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing virtual reality mapped to a position and a motion of an object performing on a stage in order to solve problems of existing technology. The method for providing virtual reality of a stage according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving an image photographed of the stage from an image photographing device; recognizing a motion and a location coordinate on the stage of a preset object from the image through a preset image recognition process; determining a virtual reality scenario in accordance with the recognized location coordinate among previously stored virtual reality scenarios as matched to each location coordinate on the preset stage and each motion of the object; determining a virtual reality image in accordance with the recognized motion from at least one virtual reality image constituting the determined virtual reality scenario; and outputting the determined virtual reality image in a location corresponding to the recognized location coordinate and motion. |
