The present invention relates to a method and a device capable of performing a function in a second input unit inputting mode in response to the input of a first input unit when the second input unit inputting mode is used in an electronic device using a first input unit inputting mode. The method comprises a step for receiving the touch input of the first input unit in a first input mode inputted by a first input unit and a second input mode inputted by a second input unit and a step for performing a predetermined function which is different from a function in response to the touch input of the first input unit in an off-state of the second input mode and an on-state of the first input mode in response to the touch input. The present invention is provided to set the predetermined function in response to various hand touch gestures by using hand touch input in a pen inputting mode of the electronic device, thereby simply controlling the setting for pen input in the pen inputting mode. |
