<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nickel powder with fine and uniform grain sizes which can be suitably used as the one for forming the internal electrode of a laminated ceramic capacitor, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing nickel powder includes: a step (A) of roasting nickel hydroxide in which the content of the group 2 elements in the Periodic Table is 0.002-1 mass% so as to be nickel oxide powder; and a step (B) of performing heating to a reducing temperature while holding the obtained nickel oxide powder (the object to be reduced) to≤3 mm by a conversion thickness, and feeding a hydrogen-containing gas at a flow rate of≥0.01 m/s to reduce nickel oxide powder. The nickel powder is obtained by the method for producing nickel powder, and has the average grain size of 0.2-0.4μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
