The objective of the present invention is to provide a molding method and a molding device capable of molding medium production volume parts with a small amount of plant investment and a high molding quality, while suppressing the generation of creases even if a plate thickness is large. A method for molding a composite material hollow part comprises: holding a tool (3) on a stand (2) to have a gap from the stand (2) by a holding part; locating a prepreg (7) made of a fiber-reinforced resin on the tool (3); covering the tool (3) and the prepreg (7) from above the prepreg (7) by a highly stretchable sheet (5); securing the highly stretchable sheet (5) and the stand (2) by a securing jig (6) on the outer peripheral side of the highly stretchable sheet (5), the tool (3), and the prepreg (7), so that a tensile force is provided to the highly stretchable sheet (5) from the top of the prepreg (7) where the highly stretchable sheet (5) is brought into contact with the prepreg (7) to the end of the highly stretchable sheet (5) to thereby form an enclosed space (S) in which the tool (3) and the prepreg (7) are housed; and thereafter, vacuuming the enclosed space (S) to wind the prepreg (7) around the tool (3). |
