<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide payload capacity more flexibly in an OTN (Optical Transport Network).SOLUTION: A digital transmission system receives client signals, stores the input client signals in a frame corresponding to the payload capacity of bundled ODUs (Optical Channel Data Units), distributes the client signals in accordance with the size of each ODU which is a member constituting virtual concatenation and transmits an ODU signal obtained by multiplexing the distributed signals on a transmission side device. The digital transmission system receives the ODU signal, performs deskewing of the ODUs which are the members constituting the virtual concatenation, bonds the ODUs subjected to deskewing, restores the original ODU signal, demaps the client signal from the restored ODU signal and transmits the demapped signal on a reception side device.</p> |
