<p>The present invention relates to a technology for sending and receiving chat messages by users through a message server. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a user can transmit and receive a user preference for messages sent and received to and from chat participants, such as recommendation and the like. When the chat participants excluding the user recommend a message a certain number of times or more, the corresponding message can be automatically notified to the user. As a result, the efficiency of communication is improved, thereby reducing the total number of messages exchanged. A method for an instant message service comprises the steps of: transmitting a message created in a mobile terminal to a message server, and re-transmitting, by the message server, the message to other mobile terminals participating in a chat; receiving, by the other mobile terminals, the message; waiting until the other mobile terminals determine whether to recommend the message; transmitting, by the other terminals, the recommendation to the message server, and changing a recommendation button into a cancel button; and receiving, by the message server, the recommendation, creating a list of users recommending the message, counting the number of the users, and transmitting feedback to the mobile terminal in which the message was created.</p> |
