<p>A playground roundabout (or turntable) comprises a rotatable platform 16 on which children can be carried. The playground roundabout has a chassis, bearing means mounted upon the chassis, a skirt 22 surrounding the chassis, and the rotatable platform 16 mounted upon the bearing means. There is a gap G1 between the periphery of the platform 16 and the skirt 22, and one of the platform 16 and skirt 22 has an adjustable element 30 for adjusting the size of the gap G1. The platform 16 can carry one or more seats upon which children can sit and/or it can carry a railing which children can grasp whilst standing upon platform. There is also disclosed a method of installing a playground roundabout.</p> |
