<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent for a reinforcing fiber capable of imparting excellent adhesiveness to a reinforcing fiber used for reinforcing a thermoplastic matrix resin, a synthetic fiber strand using the sizing agent for a reinforcing fiber, a method for manufacturing a synthetic strand and a fiber reinforced composite material. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is a sizing agent for a reinforcing fiber that is used for reinforcing a thermoplastic matrix resin, and essentially contains a hydrophilic polyamide resin obtained by modifying an N-alkoxymethylated polyamide resin with a hydrophilic vinyl monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
