<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for cross-searching large documents including text and digital ink. The method comprises the steps of: classifying text and digital ink included in a document based on a data type; generating conversion digital ink or a conversion feature vector for the text; generating an inverted index for the one document by using the conversion digital ink, the conversion feature vector, and the digital ink; storing the inverted index in an inverted index database; receiving a query including query text or query digital ink; and searching information corresponding to the query from the inverted index database. Thus, a document including both text and digital ink may be searched more easily and accurately by using text or digital ink, and the content of a document may be accurately searched without restrictions on the type of a written language of text and digital ink.</p> |
