The suspension has a trailing arm (1) hingedly connected at front, and extended in longitudinal direction of vehicle, for attaching an axle of a wheel of the vehicle. The trailing arm has a contact region (5) formed corresponding to outer contour of the axle, and clamped with the axle. The trailing arm is wider in the contact region, than in spring portion (2) that is formed at front of the contact region. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for manufacturing wheel axle suspension; and (2) method for manufacturing spring trailing arm for pneumatically sprung wheel axle suspension.
