PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen coverage of a physical downlink control channel of a terminal device which receives control information, by enabling a base station to generate an error-detecting code in which predetermined identification information is masked, regardless of a class of information used for generating the error-detecting code to be added to the control information.SOLUTION: A base station transmits to a terminal device control information to which an error-detecting code masking predetermined identification information is added, in a radio communication system. The base station comprises: generation means in which, when a length of first information to be masked with the predetermined identification information for generating the error-detecting code is not corresponding to a length of the predetermined identification information, second information corresponding to the length of the predetermined identification information is generated; and error-detecting code generation means in which, when the second information is generated, the error-detecting code is generated in which the predetermined identification information is masked with the second information. |
