PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method in which paste can be coated uniformly and accurately with an inexpensive device construction and without needing cleaning.SOLUTION: A paste coating method is the paste coating method using a paste coating device including a paste discharge mechanism and a squeegee which restricts paste thickness, and includes a process in which paste is coated by using the paste coating device and a paste thickness adjustment process in which the coated paste thickness is restricted by the squeegee and the paste of thickness exceeding a specified value is recovered by a recovery mechanism provided at the squeegee.
