PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in a contact pressure to a photoreceptor drum of a cleaning blade under a high temperature even when the device is made compact.SOLUTION: A cleaning device includes: a cleaning blade 32 attached to a housing 31; and a support member 33(a, b) for supporting the cleaning blade 32. A stationary portion 50 is sandwiched between the support member 33 and the housing 31. The stationary member 50 is formed of materials whose thermal expansion coefficient is higher than that of the housing 31. The stationary member 50 is fitted into a recess 40 formed in the housing 31, and the support member 33 is pressed in a direction where the cleaning blade 32 is brought into pressure contact with a photoreceptor drum. Thus, even when a gap between the support members 33 and the housing 31 is narrow, the thermal expansion amount of the stationary member 50 can be made large. Thus, it is possible to maintain a predetermined value of the contact pressure of the cleaning blade 32 to the photoreceptor drum even under a high temperature environment while making the housing 31 compact. |
