KARAOKE SYSTEM HAVING FEATURE IN COMMUNICATION DUET DELAY DETERMINATION SCHEME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check whether the communication state of a transmission path is suitable for communication duet or not before communication duet.SOLUTION: A karaoke system selects multiple devices from a large number of karaoke devices 2 connected with a host device 1 (server) via a transmission path 4 and lets singers perform communication duet. The host device 1 (utilization state determination means, communication test execution means, and communication state determination means) determines whether the karaoke devices 2 are being used or not (S3), performs a communication test of the transmission path 4 between an unused karaoke device 2 determined to be unused and the host device 1 (S4), and determines whether a communication state of the transmission path 4 is suitable for communication duet or not on the basis of the communication test result (S5).
