<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate editing by matching time codes of a plurality of apparatuses to accurately arrange a plurality of motion picture files side by side while using a time line during editing and eliminating the need to add offset to the time code.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: imaging means for outputting a motion picture signal; generation means for generating a time code; recording means for adding the time code to a plurality of frames of the motion picture signal and recording the motion picture signal; and control means which receives standard time information and corrects the time code on the basis of the received standard time information. In the case where the received standard time information indicates a predetermined time, the control means corrects the time code.</p> |
