<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system which allows a person present in the building to connect to the outside of the building after stopping of an elevator because of a disaster.SOLUTION: An elevator system is provided with car stop communication devices and a controller. The car stop communication devices are arranged each in an elevator car stop of each floor in a building and connected to an external communication device outside the building. When a hall button arranged in the elevator car stop of either of floors in the building is operated after the elevator is switched to the operation for emergency because of occurrence of a disaster, the controller establishes communication channels between the car stop communication devices and external communication device.</p> |
