PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin composition for a light scattering layer in which wavelength dependence of an improvement rate of light extraction efficiency is small, and which is usable in a wide wavelength region; a light scattering layer formed by using the same; and an organic EL device including such a light scattering layer.SOLUTION: A resin composition for a light scattering layer comprises: a binder material including at least one kind of resin (A); and light scattering particles (B). The light scattering particles (B) contains fluorine. In the resin composition for a light scattering layer, an average particle diameter of the particles is 200-600 nm; a content of particles having a particle diameter of 600 nm or larger is 20 vol.% or less relative to a total amount of the light scattering particles (B). A refractive index difference between the binder material and the light scattering particles (B) is 0.1 or larger. A light scattering layer 12 is formed by using the composition. An organic EL device 1 includes the light scattering layer. |
