PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release agent for tire vulcanization molding which has excellent dispersion stability with time and has excellent spray workability and an excellent drying property.SOLUTION: A mold release agent, which is applied to an inner surface of a green tire at the time of tire vulcanization molding, comprises an inorganic component comprising a powder, a silicone component, a surfactant, and water. A dispersoid has an average particle diameter of 0.1-7 μm and has a viscosity at 23°C of 1,000 mPa s or less. The mold release agent can be prepared by agitating a liquid mixture comprising the inorganic component, the silicone component, the surfactant, and the water while cooling the liquid mixture to 60°C or lower. |
