Sewage tank aerator and circulator - has rotatable casing driven by internal friction of impelled water and delivery pipe thrusts

Aerating and circulatory device for biological sewage treatment comprising an immersed pump, driven by a motor, with a submerged inlet and one or more submerged delivery pipes fixed to the pump casing. Each delivery pipe carries an air injector. The pump casing is mounted freely rotatable and therefore rotates under the action of the friction of the water inside it, driven by the impeller. Pref. the delivery pipes have lateral outlets which produce a tangential thrust contributing to the rotating of the casing. Improved circulation of the sludge is achieved with a simple mechanical arrangement.
