<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave absorber containing coil-like carbon fibers, improved in electromagnetic wave absorption function over a wider band while further improving a performance of electromagnetic wave absorption.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorber is formed from a porous synthetic resin or a porous synthetic rubber in which a nucleic material to be nuclei for providing pores 1 is mixed into a synthetic resin or a synthetic rubber in which coil-like carbon fibers 2 are mixed, and after curing, the nucleic material is eluted, gasified or decomposed, thereby including a plurality of pores in locations where the nucleic material is present. Thus, options of a base material are increased without being limited to a foamable resin, molding is facilitated even if a content of the coil-like carbon fibers 2 is increased, and by adjusting a content of the nucleic material with respect to the base material, porosity can be easily changed.</p> |
