<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate cutting apparatus comprising a dry cleaning machine which enables deposits such as cut chips deposited on a surface to be removed in a compact constitution with no damage of a plate.SOLUTION: The plate cutting apparatus comprises a cutting machine that cuts a plate 50 and transportation conveyers 12, 13 that transport the plate 50 cut with the cutting machine in a downstream direction. The transportation conveyers 12, 13 comprise a dry cleaning machine 20 that cleans the surface of the plate 50 to be transported, and the dry cleaning machine 20 has an air cleaning machine 16 that jets cleaning air 33 toward the surface of the plate 50 to peel a deposit off from the surface of the plate 50 to suck the peeled deposit. Air guides 21, 22 that make the plate 50 float to pass the position of the air cleaning machine 16 in a non-contact manner are disposed upstream and downstream of a transportation direction W of the air cleaning machine 16.</p> |
