The present invention relates to a distribution method of gift cards using MO and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a user transmits member store number and payment amount as a payment requesting text message to a certain gift card receiving number to pay by the gift card at the member store; the text message requesting paying by gift card is received by an MO/MT server connected to the certain gift card receiving number via a messaging server of a mobile communications company and transmitted to an authentication server; the authentication server confirms if the transmitting number of the gift card requesting message is identical to a mobile phone number of the user corresponding to the issued certain gift card receiving number; if they are identical, a payment approval text message is transmitted to a registered mobile phone of the member store with a certain receiving number for payment approval as a receiver after producing the certain receiving number for payment approval corresponding to the store number which is to approve the gift card information, payment amount and payment request; the member store transmits a response text message for the received payment request approval text message; the response text message approving the request of paying by gift card is received by the MO/MT server connected to the certain receiving number for payment approval via the message server of the mobile communications company and transmitted to an approval server; the approval server confirms if the sender phone number of the response text message is identical to the phone number of the member store corresponding to the issued certain receiving number for payment approval; if they are identical, paying by gift card is completed. |
