摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving a gas engine to reduce mechanical load applied to a gas injection valve in closing the gas injection valve, and to reduce tendency of abrasion of the gas injection valve, and further to create an engine control device and a gas injection valve to implement the method.SOLUTION: In a method of driving a gas engine, that is, a method of introducing a gaseous fuel to a cylinder 11 of the gas engine by using a gas injection valve 20, a valve element of the gas injection valve is lifted from a valve seat of the gas injection valve by supplying electric power to an electromagnet of the gas injection valve against elastic force of a spring element useful as a restoration element of the gas injection valve, to open each gas injection valve 20, the spring element presses the valve element to the valve seat, electric power is supplied to the electromagnet during closing of each gas injection valve 20, and further electric power is supplied to the electromagnet to reduce a speed of the valve element during closing the gas injection valve 20, to close each gas injection valve 20.
