<p>The self fitting seat belt has a pillar anchorage point for the shoulder belt. This slides along a guide along the top edge of the door frame as the door is opened to release the wearer from the belt. A safety catch secures the belt setting until released by a servo. The safety catch prevents the slider from loosening the belt if e.g. the vehicle turns over in a collision. The safety catch is released manually, or by the servo when the door is opened.</p> |
