The present invention relates to a washing machine with an improved structure of a front frame to which a door is coupled. An aspect of the present invention provides a washing machine which includes a cabinet forming an outer appearance; an opening provided on a cabinet to withdraw laundry; a door coupled to the cabinet to open and close the opening; a mounting portion provided on a front surface of the cabinet to have the door mounted; and at least one rib provided at the mounting portion to strengthen the stiffness of the cabinet. According to the present invention, the washing machine reinforces the stiffness of a frame to which the door is assembled to prevent the door from drooping due to the weight. Additionally, the washing machine can attenuate noise generated due to vibration of the frame to which the door is assembled when the washing machine is operated.
