<p>The present invention relates to a smart battery management system. The smart battery management system includes: a BMS which manages charging/discharging of a secondary battery and generates status data about the secondary battery and own status; and a management server which is connected to the BMS through a communications network, receives the status data from the BMS, and determines whether to generate an event if the received status data is within a predefined standard operation range. The smart battery management system is able to monitor the operation status of the BMS which monitors and controls an uninterruptible power supply or battery cells of a secondary battery in an integrated manner at a remote place and is able to send a notification message in case an event occurs, thereby leading to a quick response.</p> |
