<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic farm produce sorting device and a method of automatically sorting farm produce capable of stabilizing the loading position of the farm produce and smoothly conveying the farm produce to the side of the feeding direction when the farm produce is identified by a farm produce identifying device, and enabling a worker who loads the farm produce on the farm produce sorting device to easily push an input button. <P>SOLUTION: Farm produce support bodies 9, 10 for supporting the farm produce 1 loaded on a farm produce carrier 8 are installed between a position further on the upstream side of the installed position of the farm produce identifying device 4 in the farm produce conveying direction and a position further on the downstream side of the installed position of the farm produce identifying device 4 in the farm produce conveying direction.
