<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning accuracy of a carriage relative to each unit and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder 100 includes: the carriage 3; a carriage rail 2, a driving section 5; a position detecting section 6; the plurality of units 7; a unit position storage section 11 stored with positional information of each unit; and a control section 10. The inkjet recorder 100 further includes: a unit distance storage section 11 stored with information about the distance between each of the units and the carriage; and a distance detecting section 8 moved together with the carriage and used for detecting information about the distance between each unit and the detector. The control section specifies a unit based on the distance information detected by the distance detecting section and distance information stored in the unit distance storage section, stores the position of the specified unit into the unit position storage section, and controls carriage movement by the driving section, by use of the positional information of the unit and the positional information of the carriage obtained through the detection by the position detecting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
