The present invention relates to a pipe transfer apparatus, and more specifically, to a pipe transfer apparatus which includes a gantry lift having improved work efficiency in transferring circular or rod-shaped material; and a buffer transfer device transferring a pipe. The pipe transfer apparatus includes a buffer transfer device moving a pipe in a predetermined distance; and a gantry lift located at a side surface portion of the buffer transfer device to grip the pipe to be mounted on the buffer transfer device to vertically be moved to another process, wherein the buffer transfer device includes a fixing frame having a groove capable of gripping the pipe; a moving frame vertically and horizontally moving to sequentially transfer the pipe; a cam motor moving the moving frame; a sensor attached to the fixing frame to determine whether the groove is gripping the pipe; and a variable hook operated by the sensor signal, and having an upper end portion connected to the groove capable of gripping the pipe by a hinge, and one side portion connected to a first link and a second link in the moving frame by a hinge. The gantry lift can easily grip circular and rod-shaped material and an object to be processed. The buffer transfer device transfers objects to be transferred without omission, thereby having a work speed three to ten times faster than the prior art, and having improved work efficiency. |
