The small vehicle for urban travel has a steerable rear drive wheel (16) which can turn 90 deg. either side of the central position. It also has two side wheels (18), (20) which are not driven and are mounted on a shaft perpendicular to the vehicle centre line and non-aligned with the driven axle. The contact points of the three wheels on the ground form an isosceles triangle. A non driving, no steering, wheel (22) can be mounted on the front.
