<p>A vehicle (100) allows a power storage device (110) mounted therein to be externally charged using electric power from an external power supply (500). The vehicle (100) includes an engine (160), a motor generator (130) and a vehicle ECU (300). The vehicle (100) allows a motor generator (130) to generate electric power by driving the engine (160). Then, when charging of the power storage device (110) is not completed within a target charging time period set by the user only using the electric power from the external power supply (500) in the case where external charging is performed, the vehicle ECU (300) charges the power storage device (110) with the electric power from the external power supply (500) additionally using the electric power generated by driving the engine (160).</p> |
