The present invention relates to a watch-type mobile terminal. The watch-type mobile terminal includes: a display unit outputting first image information; a body which is coupled to the front surface of the display unit; a strap which is coupled to the boy and is wound around a user′s arm to fix the user′s arm; a position sensor which detects the tilt and position change of the body; and a control unit which activates the display unit which a change in position corresponding to a predetermined activation gesture is sensed by the position sensor. The watch-type mobile terminal can activate the screen of the watch-type terminal without requiring separate buttons to be pressed and to enhance the ease of use. |
