The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing attentiveness and concentration and a method for preparing the same and, more specifically, a composition containing a lycium extract as an active ingredient for enhancing attentiveness and concentration. According to the composition for enhancing attentiveness and concentration proposed by the present invention the composition is prepared using an extract of lycium which is a natural material, as an active ingredient, thereby having little side effects, exhibiting effective enhancement in attentiveness and concentration, and being ingested through the addition to a drink or various kinds of food. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the composition can enhance attentiveness and concentration most effectively and economically by adding, as active ingredients, Polygalae radix, ginseng, angelica, Poria cocos, and Acorus gramineus, which are capable of improving efficacy and flavor of the lycium extract; performing a fermentation process; and then performing extraction with a particular solvent at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time. |
