<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal capable of eliminating erroneous recognition of the state of the portable information terminal by a user and reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The portable information terminal includes: a first display part for displaying display contents; a second display part for maintaining the display contents even when power supply is turned off; a state discrimination part for discriminating which of a plurality of terminal operating states in which the display contents cannot be displayed on the first display part the terminal operating state is, on the basis of prescribed information; and a display control part for displaying information corresponding to the terminal operating state discriminated by the state discrimination part on the second display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
