<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling member which lowers a surface temperature of an object to enhance an effect of mitigating the heat. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling member 1 comprises a water supply pipe 10 and a plurality of water-retaining bodies 20 that are installed in the water supply pipe 10, and is arranged at a front side of the object such as a building and a pavement body. The water-retaining body 20 is formed of a porous material and installed in the water supply pipe 10 through a water-introducing member 30 that leads to the inside of the water supply pipe 10. The water-introducing member 30 is formed of a porous material or a cylindrical member, and formed so as to supply water in the water supply pipe 10 to the water-retaining body 20 by a capillary phenomenon of the water-introducing member 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
