<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for managing preference sound sources through emotion analysis, which may provide highly satisfactory sound source service by identifying an emotional state of a user who is listening to sound sources and classifying and managing sound sources preferred by the user. According to the present invention, the apparatus for managing preference sound sources includes: a sound source output unit, a biometric information collecting unit, an emotional state determining unit, a sound source classifying unit, and a sound source managing unit. The sound source output unit plays and outputs sound sources such that a user can listen to the sound sources. The biometric information collecting unit collects, in real time, biometric information generated from emotional state of the user who is listening to sound sources. The emotional state determining unit determines the emotional state of the user in real time based on the collected biometric information. The sound source classifying unit classifies the sound sources as preference or non-preference following the identified emotional state of the user. The sound source managing unit removes sound sources classified as non-preference, and includes sound sources classified as preference into a preference sound source list.</p> |
