摘要 FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method of control for the lighting system (1), which has a variety of polygonal lighting modules (3) assembled as a matrix and a control device (7) connected to one of the lighting modules. The lighting modules are arranged randomly; in result each lighting module may interact with neighbouring lighting modules by communication units (11) assembled at all sides of the lighting module. In standby mode each lighting module performs configuration procedure that includes: receipt of address data and data on lighting orientation from the neighbouring lighting module, at that the address data comprise several address elements, which are referred to the relative position of the neighbouring lighting module; levelling of own lighting orientation towards orientation of the neighbouring lighting module, from which address data and data on lighting orientation are received; and identification of its own address by increasing and decreasing at least one address element depending on the lighting module position in regards to the position of the neighbouring lighting module in compliance with the predetermined addressing plan.
