1. A method for determining the number of symbols needed to carry data to be transmitted over at least two bonded channels using the following parameters:
the number of bits per Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol for the at least two channels; the number of parity bits per Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codeword; the maximum LDPC codeword payload sizes as determined from Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) reports for each channel; bonded channel frame splitting overhead; and the maximum number of payload bits per OFDM symbol for each channel. |
