<p>A WCDMA system and a GSM system compatibility realizing method are provided. The method includes: in the downlink data passage of a base station, the IQ data of the GSM system is mapped to the common public radio interface (CPRI) according to the predetermined rate before IQ data interleaving and framing the base frame (BF) of the CPRI, then the mapped IQ data of the GSM system and the IQ data of the WCDMA system are multiplexed; in the uplink data passage of the base station, the IQ data of the CPRI is de-multiplexed after de-framing and IQ data de-interleaving the BF of the CPRI, then the de-multiplexed IQ data of the GSM system is de-mapped according to the predetermined rate. A WCDMA system and a GSM system compatibility realizing apparatus is provided by the invention. The method and apparatus make that the two different radio transmission mode of the WCDMA system and the GSM system are uniform in the below layer and the true compatibility of the physical layer is realized.</p> |
