<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an emergency stop of a running vehicle by notifying the driver of the occurrence of an abnormality within a tunnel by discharging water from an emergency perception head. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency perception device 10 is installed within a tunnel and the supply of pressurized water flow to an emergency perception head 14 from a fixed water flow valve 64 through a water supply piping 60 is adjusted to a prescribed fixed flow rate. An emergency perception water discharge valve 62 is connected directly to the fixed flow rate valve 64, opens upon operation of the emergency system provided within the tunnel and discharges pressurized water from the emergency perception head 14 at the prescribed flow rate adjusted by the fixed flow valve 64 in the form of a bar pattern as an emergency perception pattern toward the traffic lane within the tunnel, which notifies the driver of the vehicle running in the tunnel of the occurrence of an abnormality there. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
