PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel the moment of a cartridge exerted by pressing force from a body electric contact part to achieve stable contact of an electric contact point provided on an apparatus body of an image forming apparatus with a memory tag contact point provided on the cartridge.SOLUTION: A rotation stop part of a cartridge is arranged at a position to which a reaction force acts in a direction to cancel the moment generated in the cartridge by the pressing force of a body electric contact unit.
