<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of an abnormality determination system and an abnormality determination method for determining an abnormality of a pressure loss part.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination system comprises an inlet pressure sensor 31 which detects the inlet pressure of an intercooler 26, an outlet pressure sensor 32 which detects outlet pressure, an atmospheric pressure sensor 33 which detects atmospheric pressure, and an ECU 35 which determines an abnormality of the intercooler 26. The ECU 35 accommodates a first pressure loss range indicating a pressure loss in an abnormal state of the intercooler 26, determines whether or not an intake air amount is not smaller than a minimum flow amount by which the abnormality of the intercooler 26 can be detected, and when a difference between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure which are detected when the intake air amount is smaller than the minimum flow amount, a difference between the outlet pressure and the atmospheric pressure, and a difference between the atmospheric pressure and the inlet pressure are included in an allowable range, and when a difference between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure at a time point when a flow rate is not smaller than the minimum flow rate is included in the first pressure loss range, the abnormality determination system applies abnormality determination to the intercooler.</p> |
