The invention concerns a tyre tread comprising a rubber composition based on an elastomer matrix comprising more than 50 % by weight of at least a butyl rubber, a reinforcing filler and a plasticizing system comprising at least a phosphoric acid ester having a glass transition temperature of less than -75°C. A tyre having such a tread offers both low rolling resistance and good grip on wet ground.
