CATALYTIC OLEFIN BLOCK COPOLYMERS WITH CONTROLLED BLOCK SEQUENCE DISTRIBUTION AND AT LEAST ONE LOW CRYSTALLINITY HARD BLOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide catalytic olefin block copolymers with a controlled block sequence distribution and at least one low crystallinity hard block.SOLUTION: An ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer comprises substantially homogeneous intramolecular segments or blocks, wherein the intramolecular segments have a most probable molecular weight distribution. The ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer comprises a hard segment and a soft segment. Moreover the interpolymer (a) has a Mw/Mn from 1.7 to 3.5; (b) has an ethylene content in the range from 70 to 85 wt % based on total monomer content in hard segment; (c) (i) has a hard segment in an amount of at least 40%, relationship between a specific melting point and an amount of ethylene, and the like; and (d) has a turbidity measurement. In the ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer, a soft segment has a comonomer content in the range from 35 to 80 wt.% and is formed with a reversible transfer agent.
