Provided are a method for sharing an electronic document and apparatuses therefore, in which an electronic document is converted into a compatible format, so that a user in a reception side can easily verify the electronic document. According to the present invention, the method for sharing the electronic document in a server comprises the steps of: receiving an electronic document from a client; extracting a content from the electronic document; generating a content image including the content and transmitting the generated content image to the client; receiving an selection item including at least a portion of the content from the client; extracting selection data corresponding to the selection item of the electronic document; generating page data by using the selection data; and transmitting at least a portion of the page data to the client. |
