摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat storage device capable of properly performing regenerative reactions and exothermic reactions depending on the temperature of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A chemical heat storage device 10 includes: a reactor 11 arranged around an oxidation catalyst 4, and including MgClfor chemically reacting with NHto generate heat; a reservoir 13 connected to the reactor 11 via a pipe 12, for reserving NH; an opening/closing valve 14 provided in the pipe 12; a temperature sensor 15 for detecting a temperature of exhaust gas passing through the oxidation catalyst 4; and a controller 16 for controlling the opening/closing valve 14 on the basis of a detected value by the temperature sensor 15. The controller 16 controls the opening/closing valve 14 to be unconditionally opened when the temperature of the exhaust gas is higher than a heat generation starting temperature Tand not higher than a heat generation finishing roughly indicative temperature T, and controls the opening/closing valve 14 to be unconditionally opened when the temperature of the exhaust gas is higher than a regeneration temperature T.
