<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel PE material which retains optical characteristics, has good mechanical impact resistance characteristics and shows excellent processability, including film extrudability.SOLUTION: A polyethylene is produced with a composition comprising 70-95 wt.% of a first polymer ingredient consisting of a copolymer of an ethylene having an MWD of<5, a CDBI of>60% and a high-load melt index (@21.6 kg, 190°C) of 10-100 g/l with at least one C3-C20α-olefin comonomer and 5-30 wt.% of a second polymer ingredient consisting of a polyethylene which has an MWD of>10, a CDBI of>80% and a high-load melt index (@21.6 g, 190°C) of 0.2-20 g/10 min and is practically a homopolymer, in e.g. a single gas-phase reactor.</p> |
