PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamination type heat exchanger which achieves weight reduction while forming a passage for flowing a fluid into a structure including at least an outward path and a return path.SOLUTION: A lamination type heat exchanger 100 includes: a core 1 formed by alternately laminating first passages 11 and second passages 12; and a header 3 which is formed so as to be attached to the core. The first passages include at least an outward path 11a and a return path 11b which are formed by different layers in the core. The header is a communication header which allows a downstream end of the outward path of the first passages to communicate with an upstream end of the return path outside the core.
